Food


I want to write a little about food. I love it! I really love the unhealthy stuff. Who doesn't? It's not that I can't eat salads or vegetables. The main fact of the matter is that I love food like hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos, pizza, tacos, chicken and potatoes, fish, sandwiches (like hogies), and anything that goes well with ketchup. Again, I'm all for variety, but sometimes I like to get the goods. Can you blame me?

Then again, I like certain healthy foods. While most people would laugh if I told them that I was eating healthier, I might say that it is indeed true. I'm learning to like more foods and eat things I normally wouldn't eat. I've even started to crave some of these foods. So, despite what others say, I'm actually doing much better.

Foods I don't like? Onions (though I'm getting better with them), I'm still so-so with tomatoes, squash, certain berries (again, I'm doing better), steak (I'm not a fanatic) and certain whole wheat breads/pastas. I know their healthier, but sometimes you need the right stuff. There are other foods that I don't like (mushrooms), but I didn't list them all. For now, I am done.

I'll leave this entry with this: Eat healthy, excersize, die anyway. No, I don't believe this, but sometimes I feel like being a health freak is crazy. I'll eat healthier and try harder, but when the urge comes to chow down on my favorites, then I can't let that urge go unfulfilled.
